Makes laundry a cinch and I sure don't miss those trips to the laundromat. I chose this model after reading lots of reviews and being aware of the issues other 24" models have... this model has a lint trap that is super easy to access and clean, the washer and dryer can operate at the same time. Also, some reviews say this model doesn't fill up completely, but I'm pretty sure they are saying that because the washer fills from the bottom. I usually keep the lid open and push the clothes down to be submerged once I hear the water filling stop. I have done this to check on the load with all washers I've previously used, so I don't mind the extra step. All in all, this is a fantastic space-saving laundry center.

Needed a narrow and shallow unit for our utility closet. This fits perfectly, even leaving a little room for a storage rack. Obviously, it dies smaller loads, but runs pretty quietly and efficiently.

This is the only washer/dryer that would fit in the small space I had so am very pleased. Perfect for one person, it cleans well and has all of the functions one would expect in a basic machine.

I purchased a few weeks ago and it fits perfectly in my small closet space. The design is better than my previous washer/dryer combination, however, it is a little smaller and I think design engineers can figure out to increase the interior space to hold more laundry without increasing the footprint.

Previously had a general stackable. A piece of dirt!! Had three months and it went bad. Got extended warranty and was finally able to get a new one. Whirlpoolet. So happy with it. Quieter, close seem cleaner. And I read all USA MADE!!!

We bought this washer/dryer combo based on its size (the door to the back room is skinny) and on the recommendation of a repair man who shared that the lower-tech the unit, the easier (and cheaper) it is to repair in the long term--and that it's best to buy a washer that loads from the top (not the front) for long-term durability. Although this unit is low-tech, it's extraordinarily easy to use and very efficient. The washer takes about 20 minutes and the dryer is fast as well. This is a great purchase!

I bought this stackable unit on the advice of a plumber - it had to fit in a small bathroom. So far I'm extremely happy w my purchase. I'm careful not to overstuff the washer as directions suggest and as long as the load has room to move/agitate, clothes are washed/spun well. The dryer isn't too loud either. I have yet to wash queen sheets, but when doing flannel I might leave out one of the big sheets for a 2nd load (will see how it looks after putting entire set into washer). If you have a small space and are single - this is the unit for you!

basement laundry too hard to continue with bad knees, we found this small unit that fit perfectly in our bathroom linen closet. It took just 2 days to prepare and convert the closet and install the unit. It has worked exactly like we had hoped.

This has proven to be a very reliable machine, but the capacity means a couple will need to do 2 or 3 loads a week. Not for families, great though for singles or couples. Fits neatly in the smallest of closets. When the unit finally died failed after about 15 years, I reordered the same model.

Ordered this product . Waited a month to get the machine. Was told 2 weeks when I ordered. Was installed and the timer on the dryer would not work. Dryer just kept running. Had to call for a repair. My own fault for not reading the fine print there is no soap dispenser or fabric softener dispenser. I could not imagine a machine without these two items. The machine is very noisy. In other words I hate it and would never recommend any one buy the machine.

My 25 year old Maytag Washer / Gas Dryer was quieter and the washing machine was bigger. It was wider but in was the same depth as my new machine so it fit in the space available in my house.

This washer/dryer combo has been a wonderful addition to my very small trailer. It takes up less square footage than many standard washer/dryer combo with its 24" width. It has very capably handled my loads of laundry (though I am only washing for one person). If you have a larger family, though, this unit would require you to wash more loads.

this unit came with a home purchase. adequate for very small loads. if your laundry needs are small, this works ok. but even a few towels will fill it to capacity. also, it is noisy. takes a long time to dry. but better than beating your clothes on a rock.

The 27 inches across was good because of the small space but the depth of 36 inches was a problem. I had to move it the another place where the fridge was. It had to be converted to the same type of gas I use for cooking in the Dominican Republic where gas cylinders are the norm.

Been using this for about a month, pretty small washer capacity so I have to do smaller loads than I'm accustomed to but it is efficient and pretty quiet. The dryer capacity is a little better and does a pretty decent job of getting things dry, but the timed cycle only goes to 50 minutes...barely long enough for most of my stuff. Permanent press cycle is better, trying to work it out so I don't have stuff in for too long.

Product works well but, because of changed dimensions, is much smaller than prior model which fit in the same space. New model is deeper than former and so, we had to go with the smaller capacity model in order to fit into the same space.

This Combination Washer/Gas Dryer by Whirlpool was purchased with only limited use because of its size, but to our amazement this unit is TOP NOTCH!!The washer is a very conformable size to was all of out clothes.The dryer dries a complete laundry with speed and dryness.Perfect size for any apartment.Also, it produces very low noise when the washer is in operation and the dryer as well.

I have been wanting to convert a second closet in my master bedroom to a small laundry. This Whirlpool stackable was perfect for it! It isn't meant to do large loads, but for one/two people it's perfect. It's has all the features of a standard washer/dryer only on a smaller scale.I am thrilled with this purchase and only wish I had done it sooner.

because now I can wash small loads. However, the cabinet itself is rather thin and does not give the sense of a well made machine. The dryer door is difficult to close unless you really bang it closed. During the agitation cycle, it's rather noisy. The stackable dryer works well and this is probably the best feature of this unit.

I bought this sight unseen because the store didn't have a display model. The washing machine is so very small. The description says large capacity, not even a little bit. It holds 4 bath towels and that's about it. The dyer (on high heat) takes 2 "extra dry" cycles to dry towels and it too is very small.

The gas dryer works so well. Drying time is short. There are many options for the washer as far as load size and temperature. The feature that holds lid up is great.It takes up so little room that I was able to use it in a closet along with a toilet and sink to make a powder room/laundry. Great choice.
