I like my new Whirlpool dryer. It is simple to use and does a great job drying clothes. The clothes come out with less wrinkles than my old dryer. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this dryer.

Great dryer for the price! It was affordable, delivery was easy, and it works really well. It heats up quickly and dries our clothes much faster than I expected. I especially love the sensor that lets us know when the clothes are dry, so we can take them out right away and help prevent wrinkles.
It is also surprisingly quiet. You can barely hear it while the clothes are tumbling, which is a huge plus. Overall, I™™m really happy with this purchase. Great price, easy to use, quiet, and gets the job done!

I love my new dryer and that said I loved my old dryer - also a Whirlpool that lasted 31 YEARS with NO SERVICE CALLS! That was when my sons were kids and it got a lot of use too. If I get one third the life out of this new one, I'll be thrilled. Large capacity and even drying with many different options. Love it.

Love my new Whirlpool dryer. I used to have to do 3 hour-long cycles to dry my comforter with my other dryer, but the Whirlpool does it in less than an hour. Wrinkles are minimal and much more capacity than I anticipated.

The print documentation that is delivered with the product is inadequate. The dryer cycle guide should have been included. I found it on the website after some searching. The product itself works fine.

This whirlpool dryer is very easy to use and has good capacity. I will be contacting Lowes/Whirpool this coming week as this is a new dryer bought 8/25/2026 and the high heat setting doesnt seem to be heating. My towels are left with moister I only placed 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel on 30 min. high heat and had to redo I was using Med and Low for certain clothes (delicate or smaller loads) and it was ok. Will update soon

I love my new dryer. The barrel is much bigger than my old one and dries great. The only problem I have is the lint catcher. It's on top of the dryer. I prefer to clean it after every load and when I do it leaves a mess with small debris. My old dryer had the lint catcher inside of the unit when you opened the door. Other than that, the dryer works great.

This dryer is not as fancy as my old matched set dryer but it is excellent as far as drying and heat goes. I am very happy with the purchase.
The lack of wrinkles and softness of the fabric make this a good choice. I considered a higher end product but this fits my needs.

Has large drum, sits taller so easier to reach in for clothes. Seems to take longer to dry clothes. But like the various heat selections. The door open and close latch is very tight, hard to pull open and latch noise is extremely loud. Lint trap screen is very flimsy made of plastic and screen is thin..

What I like best is ease of use, toss in the clothing, sheets or towels, set how you want them to dry, push start and voila, done! I think the large door opening is a boon when placing larger items in, no wadding to make them fit. It's quiet..well it is until the done buzzer scares the heck outta you with its loudness! My cats went skittering down the hall the first couple of times! It's just an all-around good little dryer.

are there anything I don't like is the restart feature because I put on the energy saving cycle it keeps restarting I guess to keep from clothes from wrinkling and keeps doing it on and off for 140 minutes which is a way I could turn that off

The dryer is working great I particularly like the drying sensor on it. You set it to how dry you want your clothes dry and it works great. It was a very good price at Lowe™™s. It has a high, medium, and low heat, which is basically all you need.

Bought this dryer to replace a dryer that had all the "bells and whistles". This was roughly half the cost. This appears to be a no Frills simple dryer that gets the job done. Reminds me of the workhorse dryer we had growing up. Reason for four stars is I haven't had it long enough, else wise a five star

I™™m really enjoying our dryer. Our old dryer was a different model and it had electronic buttons but we had so many problems with it and so far I™™m enjoying the drying setting of the high heat! It works really good and so far it drys my clothes quickly!

So far it works great! I usually use low heat and everything is drying in half the time of my old dryer. I like having the choice between 3 heat settings and the sensor dry. It has little more than the basic features, has a large drum, and was a good price.Would have given 5 stars but there was some dimples (dents) on top that stand out when light hits it at an angle, and there was a bunch of scratches on the front of it.

Dryer seems to dry well and the lint vent is excellent, collects a lot of lint. This dryer however is making a slight noise while drying. It works fine so I guess this is normal.? My be the belt or something???

We bought this in 2022 and now it's useless to us. Several months ago, it started making a terrible, LOUD grinding noise that gets worse as the load gets heavier. Two different qualified appliance repairmen came out and both told us there's nothing we can do about it. For a dryer to last just four years is a joke. We are very dissatisfied.

I purchased this dryer in December 2025. It is now August 2026---8 months later, and it has stopped working AGAIN. This is the 2nd time since purchasing that my dryer has stopped working. There is an obvious issue that goes beyond normal wear and tear. It is unacceptable for the lifespan of a major appliance to be less than a year. The manufacturer's preferred method of addressing the issue is to send random appliance "gurus" to "fix' the issue. At this rate, the 1-year manufacturer™™s warranty will be expired, and I will have to shell out another $600 to purchase a new dryer (which will not be Whirlpool). I DO NOT want my $600 appliance to be continuously tinkered with and taken apart for an "assessment" and "repair - or lack there of." This is my 1st time purchasing Whirlpool. None of my other appliances (non-Whirlpool) have had issues within this short of a timeframe. I will never purchase another Whirlpool products. Please do your due diligence before investing your money with this brand. This has been a nightmare experience. I wish I could give the company and this experience a 0 our of 5 rating.
