Bought this unit site unseen by phone through Snow Bros. I called for another Whirl Pool model but, they suggested this one. The only thing we don't like is sound used when drying is finished. Needs bells or something other than blah buzzer used now. We chose Whirl Pool as it is made in USA

I really like our new Gas Dryer. The wrinkle shield is great. The only thing I don't like is the alarm when it is done. It is very loud! Otherwise, no complaints!

Bought the dryer a month ago to match the washer I've had for about 2 years. Don't like that the door opens to a down position. It's in the way when trying to remove clothes and put in a basket. Also, when I loading clothes they sometimes catch on the door latch.
I also think the heat settings are rather vague. No definitive spot to select, just an area. I do like the 90 minute extra tumble feature.
I like my washer much better and probably would have chosen a different brand dryer if I didn't care if they matched. (but I do)

I just bought this gas dryer. So far I love it! It's been hard downgrading from the cabrio platinim but it dries nicely and is quiet. I wish it had an available Time left window. Decently priced. And i like the hamper door,very useful when folding .would put the lint yrap in door or side somewhere.lint gets everywhere when emptying!! Overall great dryer!

We got this dryer to replace our old Whirlpool dryer. We trust the Whirlpool name! We had the other on for over 11 years. I can't exactly remember. But let me tell you, we gave it a work out! This new one is very similar to the old one but has the wrinkle shield. This dryer dries SO quickly! I was amazed! Most everything I dry I use the medium heat setting. We bought the gas version of this dryer and we love it!!! It's not the fanciest version but it's everything we need! I know my Whirlpool washer is on it's way out, and we will use Whirlpool again!

When i moved I shopped for a basic dryer with simple controls and without a lot of "bells and whistles." I left behind an ancient Whirlpool dryer that was in my former residence when I moved there. I had expected to have to replace it but I never had to.

I had the exact Dryer in Electric. Bought a new home and no 220 line so I bought the same Dryer in gas. Totally satisfied and I love my new Dryer. Do it all over again.

This dryer dries!The sensor setting works great, just be sure to set it to one of the settings with a little white circle by it and not the black print "energy preferred " label as I believe this is not setting but a label or description for the sensor area. My wife kept setting the dial to that, just above delicate, and was not getting dried clothes... after investigation I saw that all the other settings around the dial have little white circles by them to point the dial at, by pointing the dial at "very dry" the clothes became very dry!We also really like the wrinkle shield.Great dryer

I have had this dryer for about two months. Capacity and drying time are both good, as is ease of use. But the door is very small with the hunge on the bottom. It is awkward and difficult to grab all of the laundry without pulling my back.

I bought this dryer 2 months ago and it is a basic dryer which is what I wanted. I don't want bells and whistles. It does have a sensor drying feature which I use bc it dies seem to cut down on the time the dryer is running, so hopefully it will save some money on the electricity bill.

Not happy with lint trap on top of machine. Very messy to clean. Also drying function is not that great. Took time to get used to settings and often have to put in for 2nd cycle to completely dry clothes.

I purchased this dryer because my current whirlpool dryer suddenly stopped working (was purchased on craig's list; not sure how old it really is; but has been working great since 2010). When I called a service company, it sounded as if it would be more expensive to try to fix the dryer than to buy a new one. So, I bit the bullet and bought the washer/dryer set (was more economical than buying only the dryer). So far, it has worked great, I love the ex-low setting, I normally dry all clothing on the low setting anyway and bulky items such as sheets, blankets and towels dry rather quickly on the higher settings.
