Temp control sucks

How in the world do you know what the temp is in the freezer or frig? A setting of 4 tells me nothing! We've had the product for 12 hours and have no clue how to tell when it's reached the correct temp. We had few options with limited space. So far, not excited about this. The manual it came with doesn't seem to apply to this model as the booklet actually references actual temperatures. I need the temp displayed, not 4!

I purchased this to replace an existing refrigerator that had a top freezer as the majority of times you use the refrigerator portion always had to bend to remove anything from it I wanted a bottom freezer had a height issue this fits the bill and size. This is a well built appliance lot's of thought went into it's design and features and it is energy star rated too. Bottom line I'd give it higher rating than the five that's allowed

We bought this just a couple of weeks ago and are already really enjoying it. We went from a French door style to this single door style and are amazed at how much more room is available in the refrigerator, especially the shelves inside the door since it has one big door, not two small ones. We also like the very clean look of not having a water/ice cube dispenser on the outside. We also love the freezer being on the bottom- it's much easier to see what's in there. And, best of all, it's a very quiet refrigerator.

I haven't had it for long, about 2 months. It is quiet and works well, makes ice. It does not have as much space inside as I thought it would. The exterior dimensions are identical to my old fridge, but the freezer space is larger, but does not hold as much. The drawers and hardware for the drawers take up a great deal of space.
So far, the only issue I see is that the fridge door swings out uncontrollably when it is opened, it swings fast and hits hard on the hinge. I worry about the wear on the hinge from the way it closes. I am thinking it is missing a washer to tighten things a bit so it opens in a more controlled fashion.

I love the many choices of placement for the shelves. First time for us with freezer on the bottom. Really like it and love the easier access to the items in the refrigerator as we use the freezer so much less.

Love the freezer on the bottom, with the refrigerator on top every thing is at eye level and with in reach. Inside the refrigerator is roomy, this is a stylish refrigerator and looks great in my kitchen. I just can't say enough about this refrigerator.

This was a replacement of an older non-Whirlpool model. Size was important as I had a limited area. Fits, and has all the room I need for myself and occasional visitors. Love the LED light inside and the movable shelves. Only issue is that the door seems heavy and you have to be mindful to make sure you use enough force for it to close and not swing open again.

We bought this refrigerator a month ago. While it looks nice it is very noisy when the compressor starts for the refrigerator part. Loud clunking noise for about 10 seconds. Does it again after a few minutes. Ice maker is not hooked up and os turned off. This is our first Whirlpool appliance and may be our last.

Needed 30" or less width for small condo & this worked well. Reversed door opening, which my husband was able to do without any issues Only problem we had was some interior door bins were left out, along w ice tray. Notified customer service and we are receiving missing bins one-by-one!

Got this fridge several weeks ago. Love the convenience of freezer on the bottom. Works great, quiet. Only con is brushed stainless is not resistant to fingerprints at all like my other stainless appliances. Constantly cleaning and its just the 2 of us here!

Pretty good so far. When you switch handles from left to right you have two big dimples to look at. Second refrigerator with this problem. Waiting for a new door. Hope this works out. Made in America! Poor quality control in my opinion.

Now I am waiting to find out weather or not it can be fixed. It was delivered with what looked like a rust spot on the top door in addition to scratches in 2 places, that looked like it had been worked on to fix. They ordered me a new door which came and was in
good condition. Next, after having it for a few months I opened the freezer and it looked
like a snowstorm had hit. Everything was covered with a soft snow. Service man came
to service it and said that air was getting in. Thought he fixed it but, the same problem came up again. 2nd serviceman came and said he'd have to order parts. Next
serviceman came and said that the part he ordered came in two parts and he only had
one so, he had to order the other part and would come back and service it again.
Hopefully, this will fix the problem. However, if this continues, i am requesting a
replacement. These refrigerators don't come cheeep and one expects it to be in
good condition. I have had a Whirpool chest freezer for over 30 years and never had
to have service on it. I can not answer all the questions below until I fined out if the
problem is fixed and it will work properly after service.

I was limited in size due to the door openings into my kitchen. The refrigerator is roomy but the freezer is small. I'm happy it has an ice maker as many smaller refrigerators didn't. My biggest challenge is cleaning the smudges from the doors! My other stainless appliances are great but the refrigerator is a challenge!

Only time will tell but this fridge fits my space well, has a bottom freezer with ice maker, and keeps everything cool. There's a lot of space on the fridge door, with slightly less space because of that on the shelves. It came with a bunch of shelves which I eventually didn't use one. Could be a little quieter but better than my previous fridge. Overall, great fridge that fits the 30" wide space.
