We have had 2 of these LG refrigerators leak Freon and destroy our food. Both were purchased and owned for less then a year. Youll know if its happened because your water will taste like nail polish remover. Its time to look at other brands.

Wish I Could Review The Fridge

I wish I was able to review the fridge. It was scheduled for delivery on Monday. We took the day off to be here. Never received notice they were not coming. That night found out after 1 hour of calling that it was rescheduled to Wednesday without notice. Cancelled doctors appointments to be at home. Spent 30 minutes calling to confirm. Was hung up on. Told probably 1-3. They never came and never contacted us to reschedule. At this point customer service is saying maybe next week. Unacceptable I wish I bought a different product from somewhere else. Sad that the delivery service would ruin a hopefully great product. Will update if we ever get the fridge. BTW I rarely write reviews but this is egregious.

I heard LG appliances are not the best and it might be true. In my case I have this model fridge that came with a house purchase I did in 2024 the model was from 2021 so in less than almost 4 years is not working anymore I called couple technicians to come by and both of them told me it was a compressor issue that it will cost more the repair that having a new fridge my food got waisted and i dont have a good experience of these fridges anymore might go to a new brand i hope lg can work on this because i read the majority of their issues are compressor related

Worst purchase ever

I am very disappointed with this fridge. Six months after purchasing it the ice started to clump. I had a technician examine it and he replaced the ice container under warranty. He mentioned that several other customers had reported the same issue. Exactly a year later we experienced the same problem again. I reached out to technical support and their solution was to lower the temperature of the freezer however that didnt help at all The ice continues to clump and now I have to pay for repairs. At this point it seems we will face this issue every six months. Im beyond frustrated since this was an expensive product and now we are stuck with it.

HORRIBLE I am so disappointed in LG I have only bought LG appliances BUT NO MORE The secondary door clasp holder broke as its a piece of plastic POOR DESIGN The silver hook has nothing to hold on too so the secondary door does NOT stay closed LG will NOT fix because its out of warrantee my 5 months. The door only has a 1 year warrantee THIS PIECE OF PLASTIC is a POOR DESIGN BEWARE

Love this refrigerator My last one ran all the time. So quiet and cavernous. I literally was able to combine 2 refrigerators into one Love the craft ice. We have had the unit for about 20 months and we love it and all the great features and options When they work right. We really like the see thru door and tap to turn on the light. And the craft ice balls are super for drinks. But we had the craft ice maker replaced twice under warranty before we got it to work right. And just recently the whole unit stopped working with no power at all. It was traced to a bad freezer fan and bad power board and was replaced with no charge due to problems with them. Overall we really love it but only time will tell if it lasts. I am cautiously hopeful

Many good features and a few issues

We have had our unit for about 2 years now and when it was originally delivered the door was damaged so a new unit was swapped out. Then we had some problems with the craft ice not working all the time. After 2 replacements we got it working. Now we woke up and it was totally dead. The freezer fan was shorted out which disabled the power supply So the fan was replaced under warranty and its working again. There are many useful features like craft ice and tap to turn on the light but I wonder just how many bells and whistles you really need. The fact it is connected to our network is great for checking out the unit and testing to make sure it is working properly. I really like it but I think the warranty should be reset if there is an issue until it can go a full year without any problems. Im just saying if a company stands behind a product then it shouldnt be a problem and might just make it so products are built to a higher standard. Im just saying

I have owned it for a couple of years. The craft ice maker ice balls stick in the molds not dispensing into the ice tray. Water leaks when the molds are being filled causing all of the ice balls to freeze to the bottom of the ice bin. The craft ice maker makes a jackhammer noise when the ice maker is trying to empty the ice. The ice maker in the door clogs if you dont clean it out every couple of weeks.

We love our LG refrigerator but have had several problems with the ice maker and craft ice maker. Both have been replaced but are now not working again. I did the diagnostics with the app and was told we would receive a replacement ice maker and craft ice maker and would install it on our own if they included replacement filters. We still have not received the replacement and currently have no ice or craft ice.

Frustration of unit

Where to start with this item. first off with in a few months of having the unit the craft ice maker stopped working when I contacted support there was no one in my area to send out to fix eventually it was sent to me and I replaced it. The 2nd time it went out I purchased and installed myself again the 3rd time it went same thing. So i never thought much about the cooling features as it was the only fridge I had but now I realized it never cooled really well. Our power went off Refrigerator did not come back on. Stopped cooling. Thank good ness I was home or I would have lost everything. Contacted Customer support and the condenser was still under the 5 year factory warranty as I have not had this unit for 3 years yet. However they would cover the cost of the condenser and up to a certain dollar amount on labor. The cost to finalize the fix would have been close to another $1000 out of my own pocket so why would I fix it and be without a fridge for another month or longer. I just never thought that in less then 3 years I would be spending another $2000 on a refrigerator. After looking thru I see that this is a common issue for both Ice makers and Condensors. I really like the look of the refrigerator design and having no handles this I would give it a 5 star it does show horrible fingerprints. The bottom drawers in the freezer are really nice to have for those items you dont go to so much. The door chime and hooked to an app is really nice if you have people around that dont shut the door. So features I really like the refrigerator. Craft ice was nice also.

It worked more or less fine for a few years and then stopped working. The electricity is on but neither the freezer nor the fridge cools. Customer service was no help. Local repairmen refuse to work on LG products and Im starting to understand why. So now Im stuck and wondering why LG wont stand by its product.

Worst customer service ever. On top of that our two year refrigerator has had a repair man out 6 times in two years and this company refuses to replace this lemon. Also trying to get anything handle with the 15 different departments is a joke. Never will buy anything from them again

The refrigerator is great unfortunately the ice-maker is not. The ice-maker has been repaired several times but the problems never were corrected. Now I am waiting for a new door to be delivered to fix the problem. I have gone months without ice.

We purchased it about a month ago. Delivery seemed to us to be a bit slow. the product arrived with a dented door. replacement of the door was slow and we had trouble addressing the issues involved with not talking with real people about the situation.

bought it a couple of months ago and we love it. only complaint was it took a will to get the ice cubes to stop tasting funny. Threw a 5 0r 6 bunkers of ice away and it stopped. i think it was the water line they made me buy. before they would hook it up.

I bought this fridge for the look and the ice craft. They have fix the ice craft 3 times and the freezer is giving problems after 3 years. Make sure to buy insurance for the fridge
